'Tis the season to be miserable, depressed, a bit fed up about how rubbish life is in general. The Porch Song Anthology might not have the answers but they've certainly got a tune. CHRISTMAS IS COLD is a bittersweet tale of loneliness, longing and hope delivered in a heartwarming symphony of banjo, guitars, sleigh bells and four-part harmonies.

The PSA chorus - made up of a bunch of vagabonds, drunks and some genuinely nice people with lovely voices - provide a soaring and slightly ramshackle climax to this heartwarming Christmas parable. It cost 57.63 to make this record.
